It was late summer of around 2010, when I was working in a shop that sold spare parts for cars.

It was around 2.30pm I went outside for a cigarette - I smoked at the time - I was looking up as there was some clouds in the sky. There were not many, just a few small clouds on a sunny day.

I saw what I thought was a high flying plane: I focused on it as I thought it should have contrails. Then two more appeared behind, it either side, forming a perfect triangle formation.

They were moving pretty quickly and disappeared behind the cloud - but I didn't see them come out the other side!

To this day I still don't know what they were. Being a aircraft enthusiast I would say they looked like a high altitude jet - like an airbus A320 - cruising at around 30,000ft, but with no contrails and the speed was faster than your average high altitude airliner. Witnessed over Aldershot, Hampshire.
