Hi Paul,
Your report:-
A little about me before I start. You can call me Bean, I'm born in 85 and I have had a history of unexplain-able incidents experienced first hand that have given me the interest in the subject of Quote "conspiracy theories".
I am really open with close friends about my opinions on the paranormal and have been deemed mental as you would expect. Ive never really had the desire to share my experiences in a sort of official capacity with people such as yourself but this instance has literally taken over my mind and I have been researching the subject of the dogman/werewolves since.
Now I work rotating shifts between days/nights for a company that shall remain un-named, and we work inside a fenced in part of land that is illuminated (mostly) on allsides. Often people visit the smoking area myself included which is to the rear of the building facing a trainline, with a tree line approx' 45m across and running parallel with the trainline about half a mile. The area backs up onto miles and miles of fields and farmland with the crowl moors less than 3 mile to the south, The Moors have the North East Ley line passing directly through it and I am a firm believer of hieghtened activity around Ley lines.
Frost lines the floors and the moon is pretty full so visibilty is pretty decent however its still really dark beyond the fence. Now often when spending time in the smoking area over the course of months we would take it in turns to visit the shelter alone and multiple times I have had the feeling of being watched from the wooded area but I always convinced myself the building is surrounded with security, the fence is 8ft ish tall and I am probably just freaking myself out over nothing.
10th January 01:30-03:00am
The second night shift in my cycle of 4 and I was alone in the smoking area 5minutes in that same feeling washed over me something is watching, I stopped looking at facebook on my phone and could not stop looking at the wooded area across the small 20m field. I must of been scanning the area for a good 10 minutes while chain smoking another ciggy.... I saw nothing so shaking it off I turned to head back walking around the building across the car park to suddenly hear the bracken cracking and a rustle pretty much exactly where I was looking. I shuddered, had another quick look but once again I could not see anything so headed back inside.
I mentioned what happened to my co-workers to usual riddicule and we had a good laugh about it. Within the next half hour another person went out to smoke and upon returning mentioned there was definatly something lurking in the woods as they had just heard similar sounds. Fast forward and its now around 3:30. We decided to venture out together and as we approached the shelter we were chatting among ourselves about to light up when we confirmed "yep theres something rustling around in the bush" being in pairs we continued to talk and a few minutes into our conversation 1, 2... 2 distinctive footsteps in the bushes, we dropped silent and looked towards the woods "theres defo something there and its on 2 feet" we quietly whispered to each other but heard nothing more while we remained quiet. We told a few of the others when returning to once again the usual disbelief.
11th Jan
My co-worker and I decided we were'nt going out alone anymore and left together to smoke all evening and on our last visit at around 3:30 again we witnessed the same 2 steps, the same location although this time we had a torch with us which we shone through the tree line. Still nothing other than the feeling we are 100% being watched. We discussed the possibility of various animals and concluded nothing takes 2 steps. Small game would rustle around, a deer would of left the area while we were chatting and laughing and we eventually got talking about the big cat issue from the 70's and experiences we had previously had related to them.
It could be a person we agreed, doubting the words even as we spoke them "its 3 in the morning and its freezing cold what kind of lunatic is knocking about in the woods at this time" we said. Could be dogman my friend said. Isnt that like a wendigo or a skin walker I laughed and the topic of criptids became our conversation for the next few hours.
12th Jan 1:30 ish
As we were both leaving our building a different co-worker was leaving the smoke area and she mentioned she heard it, It was 2 steps she said, we looked around with the torch but could see nothing. Had the usual joke around about it and returned to work mentioning to others someone else had also heard what we had mentioned. An hour passed and when we went back a 3rd guy came along to have a look. Hes young does not smoke but wanted a laugh at our expense. Upon arriving to the area friend 1 shone the light through the fence directly facing the car park we have to cross and friend 2 said he spotted something move across to the right about 2feet and made a rustling noise as we arrived to the end of the carpark. The torch holder scanned the area up and down and then they both said "Green eyes in that area there" I saw nothing. The 3rd guy said ill go down there and headed towards the fence line with the torch scanning the area to the right about 1 o clock from our location.
After 30seconds 4 discintive footsteps moved away from us at about 11 o clock back towards the trainline and then nothing once again. He returned to us and returned the flashlight to the 1st guy "I heard something move off but saw nothing". We continued to shine the light through the trees and this time in the tree tops aswell. There was an owl we startled which flew off to the left and then called out as it flew away, shortly after there was a deeper repetitive owl call that was a terrible impression coming from the location we heard the 4 steps only this sounded like something trying to imitate the 1st sound but really grumbly and poorly impersonated. Then a 2nd attempt 10seconds after slighly better but still not quite right. I was convinced it was trying to hide itself by mocking the owl not to mention the fact it managed to move itself further into the dark to prevent the light from revealing it.
We returned inside and 10minutes in the 1st co-worker showed me an article about the Lincolnshire dogman and a relatively recent sighting upon which a dogman was spotted jumping a fence with a normal dog in its mouth. I don't remember all the fine details and after looking into night wildlife with green eyes and seeing a wolf there I became totally convinced. Deer were also in the search with green eyes but having witnessed deer and they're bashful instincts I know if it was a deer or even another smaller animal, whatever it was would have left the area however what ever this was it was hanging around watching.
We decided its our final shift its 4:30 now lets go have another last look we saw a rabbit in the grounds which hastly scurried through the bracken making NO sound and we quickly realised whatever was there before had gone.
I have to admit I personally saw nothing only heard the footsteps but I had the same feelings Ive had during the previously unexplained things that have happened to me. I have spent the last few days trying scour the internet for information regarding this and I am convinced that what we witnessed is related to the dogman topic. I also discovered that this months moon cycle is called the wolf moon due to them being more active and I have learnt over time there are no such thing as coincidences.
I would like to extend that finding this page has been super helpful in my search and that even though our experience might be nothing more than some bloke in the woods I thought it be best to get you the information just incase.
Many thanks
Bean
