Hi Paul,
Your report:-
Thursday, 19/12/2024 1345 approx.
I was on duty in my role as a community nurse, sitting in traffic at traffic lights on Broadgate (near the junction with Monks Road), Lincoln, Lincolnshire, facing approximately north, looking up the hill with the cathedral in front of me.
I glanced up hill to admire the cathedral as I was idling in traffic, the lights were slow.
I saw an unusual craft in the sky above the cathedral. It was neither a plane nor a helicopter - I had time to consider this as its progress was slow to steady, taking around 30 to 40 seconds to cross the sky and disappear behind buildings to my left.
Craft was oblong and though I had nothing to compare it with nearby and couldn't judge distance or height, I felt it was perhaps slightly smaller than a double decker bus. The craft was, or appeared, white in the sun and I could see no markings on it.
The sky was clear blue, and the craft moved at a steady rate in an east to west direction. There was little to no wind at ground level as far as I could tell - I was in a car at the time.
That's it really, all I have.
I am 59, a registered community nurse of 32 years experience. I am ex RAF and consider myself a good observer and reliable witness.
Please feel free to contact me if you need to ask questions
I had an experience as a child aged 13/14, which I have rarely discussed and which puzzles me. I was living in Scunthorpe at the time.

Thanks for that Dave. Do feel free to share your childhood experience. We don't have to publish it if you would prefer not.
