Hi Paul. I hope you are well?

I was up at Bempton cliffs on Monday afternoon walking towards one of the viewing platforms - the ones where ornithologists go to view the birds.

Suddenly I spotted a flash of light come out of the clouds.

It was very strange and can only be described as a star shaped flash. It was the shape of a cartoon "Pow" shape and extremely bright and it was a dark dull day.

It definitely was not lighting. Not seen anything like it before. Who knows what it was? Paul: - There is more to check out on this report - I understand other local people may have seen this.
