Hi Paul, Don

My name is Chas, the date it happened was 9th October 2026, between 8pm and 9pm, Reighton, Hunmanby Road just past the old Dotteril pub; clear skies.

I was witness with my daughter aged 11. I called my partner who was at cubs with our sons 8 and 7: she came home and could still see them and recorded it.

My daughter noticed strange things moving in the sky at one point counted about 6. Em had noticed originally. She said it was faintly changing colour from green to blue. Mostly they were silver/white Could be mistaken for stars, if one didn't look closely. They moved in strange ways. We have seen them before. My partner Laura came home and took a video (below). When I walked the dogs later after 11 up the lane, there was one turning from silver/white to red.
