Truth Proof Report 281 ~ classic UFO sighting

July 1974 Oxfordshire

Hi Paul

Keep up the good work! In the last show you were asking about people sharing their sightings and here is my account.

My name is Angie and I currently live in Cornwall. I would like to share my own UFO experience from July, 1974 when I was out playing with my older sister and four school friends. It was during the summer holidays in 1974, and just after my 7th birthday.

We were living in a village called Deddington, Oxfordshire, where our house backed onto fields. At the end of the garden there was a stone wall, 4ft high which we used to climb over to go and play in the fields.

It was a perfectly clear summer’s day, mid-afternoon and the sun was shining. We walked down the lane, through some trees and on to the farm track through the middle of the crop. (The field sloped gently downwards, away from the house and the wheat was approx 3ft high and almost ready to harvest. )

While we were walking on the top part of the field, we noticed a ufo coming towards us, moving up from the lower end of the field. It was only a few feet above the crop and was moving slowly. I would guess we were less than 20 yards away from the craft. The width of it took up the width of the track plus a bit extra each side.

It was approx 15ft in diameter, a classic silver disc-shaped craft with a black rectangular window section on the top half. We heard a low vibrational humming sound as it approached us. We saw it for approx 10-20 seconds before it shot off at speed. (According to my sister who saw it shoot up into the sky.)

I was shocked at the sighting and I remember thinking; ‘ They’re not going to get me!’ as the rest of us ran back to our homes in panic mode.

I climbed over the garden wall at top speed. My sister returned home a few minutes later, wondering where I was!

We told Mum and Dad at the time, and then we moved out of the village a year later. It’s odd that our school friends never mentioned it.

This is my truthful experience and I still think about it at times. I’d like to add that the house we lived in was on the direct flight path to USAF Upper Heyford and we used to regularly get three B52 bombers over the house at once, and as they were coming into land at the airbase. So we were used to seeing aircraft flying low in the sky.

Have ever thought about asking any of the others what they saw and experienced.?

I know you said no-one spoke about it at the time.
