Hi Paul.

I was in Wexford in Republic of Ireland over the weekend on a retreat. Because there is less light pollution I was looking out at the stars. It was Sunday the 19th May 2025 00.09 hours.

I saw flashing lights and thought it must be the Garda helicopter, but as they were out to sea maybe the coast guard helicopters, however the movement was a little strange and the lights went from visible to suddenly disappearing. Wexford doesn't have an airport.

Having seen aeroplanes during the day I would be surprised if these were flights as the altitude would be very high and I doubt I would be able to see them but I could be wrong, it's the sudden disappearance that made me think they weren't planes. The video pans to the building to give some context.

The photos attached are of the window in daylight, the position of the retreat centre, the scope of my vision from the window and the video which is about 3 minutes long. I had been watching one light lower to the right of the frame first which disappeared as I picked up my phone.

There were two further lights. I tried to focus in on one over the building but now I’m not sure which one was the object I think it's the very round one at the bottom. This happened about 6 times whilst I was watching.

Paul: Thanks for this Gill - nobody can accuse you not sending time, weather and location details! Unfortunately I did not feel that the video came out well enough to really demonstrate anything helpful. But indeed a thought provoking event....
