Jemma J's Story
Hello Paul
I want to report one of my accounts....
In 1998 I was 9. We had moved into 3 Cobden Close Hednesford, Staffordshire, two weeks after my dad had taken his life in the loft.
The council offered the house to my mom and my 3 siblings because we were at the time living in a secret protection house.
My dad was abusive to my mom.
We moved in I think 1998. My brother was 10; my other brother was 17; and my sister was 20.
It was a 3 bed house in a cul de sac. It had a garden and was on the edge of Cannock Chase, so loads of play outside: fishing, camping, tag, camp fires....
After my dad's death we had the best childhood outside one could ask for.
My mom got a job working 7 days a week in a factory and my older siblings would be out on the night, so me and Vic were as thick as thieves till my mom got home about 7!
This account happened on a Sunday night in winter, so it was dark early. We were playing a made-up game in the living room. Just to say, before this account we were both uncomfortable in the house, and slept most night top to tale in his bed as his room was the furthest one from the stairs. I don't know why, but it was just our safe room. We thought anyway.
We were playing in living room and both ran up the stairs; we ran past the kitchen and both looked in. We stopped. By the fridge there was a 6 to 7 foot tall black thing with burning glowing red eyes. It had a hood. It was massive.
I looked at Vic and he grabbed my hand - we bounced up those stairs 3 at a time. We ran into his room put the light on, and jumped under the cover.
Vic said "Be quiet, we will wait till mom comes home". I remember asking how long. He said "Just be quiet". We were both basically on top of each other, hip to hip. After about two minutes, I noticed the house went silent. Then Vic gasped. We could see our breath. Then the door handle on the bedroom rattled - it was a round one with the little lip on top were you lock it from the inside. We locked it.
We heard the door knob unlock from the outside. Which can't be done! And then came the fear! we were frozen: we couldn't speak, couldn't scream. The fear: it was unimaginable.
Through the cover which was white, we saw this tall black thing it stood right there, right next to the single bed. We couldn't see the red eyes, just this tall black thing. It was huge. It nearly touched the ceiling; the blackness of it. It was a physical thing with no details, no face. Just the outline of a tall human thing with a cloak and hood, no hands, no arms, nothing. Then it moved backwards; it looked like it hovered out the room and shot up to the loft. The hatch was a few feet outside Vic's room.
The fear was paralysing, and by time mum's car pulled in, we were both covered in sweat; the bedsheets were ringing wet with sweat.
We bounded down the stairs, burst out crying, and mum was just hugging and holding us on sofa. She calmed us down. I can't remember if we told her what happened - I don't think we could get the words out. I do remember her saying, "Say the lord's prayer before bed." She changed the sheets, and made us some jelly and ice cream. We watched Heartbeat and went up to bed. We slept in mom's bed for weeks.
This was one of many incidents. One of us would stand guard outside the bathroom when alone in the house or we would sing and constantly speak to one another if one was upstairs in day time.
Thanks Paul and Lez P.S we lived in few houses numbered 3 which is weird. I now practice psychic mediumship as my great great aunt and nan was both sensitives.
Paul: What an amazing history, with such a sad early childhood. I will be in touch.
