Truth Proof Report 290 Translucent rectangle in the park

Hi Paul,

My name is David, I am 48 yrs old and live in Darlington, County Durham.

I have two stories which I know you will find very interesting, and which you might be able to add my experience to the bigger puzzle of the strange things you often are dealing with.

OK, in 2021, in the summer holidays: I am unsure now of exact date or day. It was just after 1.30 in the morning; myself and a friend where walking from my home (which was at the time 67 Lansdowne Street), up through North Park, then through the grave yard to Ruby Street.

We were heading to a friend's house. Anyway, as we were approaching the park entrance, which is at top of Cumberland Street, if you want to look on Google maps.

I started getting the feeling that we were being followed. At the time, my impression was someone human was following us, so we both walked into football court and stood behind the 8 foot metal fence: me at the right hand corner side, and my friend Steven at left. We were both on the lookout for a person or persons whom I expected to see coming along park pathway. We stood there for several minutes and Steven was wanting to leave, but I didn't. I gave him a fag and I had one myself, and told him to go back to the corner and 'keep your hand over it, so not to give our position away.

So, after 7 to 8 minutes of watching behind fence, looking across top of Brougham St, Zetland St, and the bottom of field, a dark large transparent rectangle glided from a tree 40 feet in font of me and Steven. It went to a second tree around 30 feet distance from first tree.

It folded up, as you would shut a curtain, then glided 40 feet towards 8 to 9 foot high bushes at the Park entrance at the top of Cumberland Street.

Steven shouted "What's that? Do you see that?"

I shouted, "Yes, I see it." Then Steven shouted "The light is dimming".

There's a lamp post a couple of metres from the corner of Cumberland Street. The street light dimmed only on area around the nearby bush for 6 to 7 seconds. The shape, as it glided was the size of a transit van. It had no depth from what I could see. If you can imagine when a TV is grey and fuzzy - when no channel is on. It was like that but blacker. It was also a bit transparent.

I believe that this thing whatever it is, was following us across the bottom of park, moving tree to tree. I picked up on it expecting it to be a person or persons.

If you have ever heard of anything like this, I would like to hear about it. Can I just say when this happened, it didn't frighten me but it did Steven, because all he kept saying was both of us shouldn't and couldn't see same thing at same time, so he knows it wasn't his eyes playing tricks. my second story involves 2 massive black triangles very low above my house which I'll tell you after I hear from you.....
